On October 23, 2008, the City Manager, the Mayor and City Commissioners
invited a cross-section of stakeholders to work with them to collaboratively develop a vision for the City in the year 2030.
The visioning session was an all-day
event held in the City’s new Cultural
Arts Center at the Miramar Town Center.
The goal of that Forum was to
both enhance economic development and quality of life
in the City. Residents, business owners, educators, and
region
al leaders worked hand-in-hand with the City Commission,
