X: The Planning and Zoning Board Meeting is cancelled.
All Planning and Zoning Board meetings are open to the public and are conducted in the Commission Chambers, Miramar City Hall, 2300 Civic Center Place, Miramar, Florida. The Planning and Zoning Board will hold a quasi-judicial public hearing to consider zoning applications, variances, and other development applications. The Planning and Zoning Board will act as the Local Planning Agency, per Chapter 163.3174, Florida Statutes, for Comprehensive Plan Amendments.
The decisions of the Planning and Zoning Board regarding variances to setback requirements are final subject to the right of appeal to the City Commission. All other decisions of the Board are advisory only and its recommendations will be transmitted to the City Commission. Please be advised that a person deciding to appeal any decisions made by the Board will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose may need to insure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be heard. If a regular meeting date falls on a legal holiday, the meeting shall be rescheduled by the Board.
